The newly built Holiday In Express & Suites will be opening it's doors in October 2024, expanding our footprint and solidifying our presence in the local market.

Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA is a division of the global Aimbridge Hospitality brand. We manage over 1,600 hotels and resorts worldwide that include big brands such as Hilton, Accor, Marriott and IHG as well as small independent hotels and everything in between, including a portfolio of prestigious hotels in Ghent.

To expand our business, we are now looking for a Maintenance Assistant.

As Maintenance Assistant, you will:

• Support the Hotel Maintenance Manager with both planned and reactive maintenance, defect repairs, and health & safety checks in line with Aimbridge's core values
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for yourself, guests, and colleagues in line with the company's security, operating, and environmental policies.
• Carry out mandatory checks and maintenance on all electrical equipment and machinery, whilst reporting accurately on the status throughout.
• Liaise with the wider hotel team to ensure a smooth and efficient service is provided at all times.
• Ensure you are well organised to guarantee minimum impact to guests and colleagues, whilst also delivering a consistently high standard of work and attention to detail during each shift.
• Based in the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, you will be part of a family of passionate people who know that being the best does not always mean working around the clock.
