The Residence Inn by Marriott, Belgium's first of its kind, opened its doors in 2019. Nestled in the southern part of Ghent near the Football Arena and major motorways, it offers 105 modern self-catering apartments, catering perfectly to extended stays with all the comforts of home.

Ghent Marriott stands proudly in the historic city centre, gracing the banks of the Leie River within the medieval harbour. Boasting 150 luxurious bedrooms, 9 versatile meeting and event spaces, a renowned restaurant, and a charming terrace overlooking the canal, it's a beacon of hospitality in the city.

The newly built Holiday Inn Express & Suites will be opening it's doors in October 2024, expanding our footprint and solidifying our presence in the local market.

Excitingly, our growth doesn't stop there. Our owners are developing an additional full-service hotel with a meeting centre, opening in 2025, expanding our footprint and solidifying our presence in the local market.

All properties are managed by Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA, a division of the Aimbridge Hospitality brand, overseeing a vast portfolio of over 1,600 hotels and resorts worldwide. From big brands like Hilton, Accor, Marriott, and IHG to boutique and independent hotels, Aimbridge Hospitality prides itself on excellence and diversity.

Are you passionate about hospitality and eager to be part of a brand-new venture? We are looking for a dynamic Night receptionist to join us at Residence inn by Marriott.

A day in the life of…

As Night Receptionist, you will:

• Use your expertise to always deliver a first-class service to all guests. You will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth check in/out process for all;
• Be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our hotel guests and staff during the night. You will ensure that security checks are carried out on each shift, with
• emphasis on fire safety and overall security of the building;
• Be conducting the nightly audit to close the day's business and liaise with the accounts team to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure the Front Office Supervisor is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and other departments.
• Maximise room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
