In the fall of 2024, we will be opening a new location in Zaventem, namely Mövenpick Brussels Airport, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated General Manager.
Mövenpick is a 4-star premium brand franchised under Accor, known for indulgence in the broadest sense of the word. Located in the heart of Zaventem between NAVO headquarters and The Corporate Village, Mövenpick Brussels Airport will feature 220 hotel rooms, a rooftop restaurant, a skylounge and wellness facilities.
Tâches
We are looking for a General Manager who will assist in the startup of the hotel as well as help shape its operations. What can you expect in this role? Various meetings/training sessions with external parties, recruiting employees, setting up budgeting and more.
Once the hotel is open, you will be the face of the hotel as the General Manager. You will help build awareness and the hotel's image.
You will be responsible for daily business operations and related reporting.
As General Manager, you will also be responsible for leading and coaching the entire team.
You will focus on the P&L with focus on cost efficiency, personnel policy and guest satisfaction.
Commercial activities are inherent to a hotel. Here, you will focus on active prospecting and attracting the B2B target group/travelers.
Profil
- You have several years of experience in the hospitality industry as a manager.
- You are highly customer-oriented, socially skilled, and have a positive attitude.
- You are an entrepreneur with a hands-on mentality.
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and can work independently.
- You highly value communication and empathy and know how to motivate your team
- You think in solutions and are flexible.
- You are highly organized and stress-resistant.
- You have an excellent command of written and spoken Dutch, French, and English. Any additional languages are a plus!
- Commercial activities do not intimidate you!
Offre

You will receive an appropriate salary package in a permanent contract of 38 hours, supplemented with the possibility of a company car with a fuel card and a bonus system.
